The admission procedures at St.Mary's Collge for Women  are handled by the Admission Committee. They are ultimately responsible for ensuring the admissions based on the selection criteria. They have the authority to set the admission policy of the institution based on the criteria set by the university.

An effective placement cell works in the college under the supervision of a group of teachers.Companies like Tata Consultancy Services(TCS),Wipro,new generation banks etc are recruiting students  every year.

The Grievance Cell is primarily instituted in the college to ensure the redressal of the grievances of the students. If students have genuine complaints regrading various matters, the services of this cell comes into play to resolve or tackle their grievances as per the satisfaction of all concerned without any hesitation.

The institution has a full time Counselor to provide guidance and to help students in their personal problems. The services of the counselor are available to the students.

As mentors, faculty guide mentees in their personal and academic matters, and maintain a record of their academic and personal profile. The mentor directs the mentee to the college counselor for guidance if needed.
